All of the drama really started the get on my nerves. While I enjoyed the sexual dynamic between Hades and Hercules, Meg and Hercules, and Hades, Meg, and Hercules. The drama between Meg and Hades seemed to go on forever, and it was drama that simply communication would resolved so easily. But both version of Hades run a BDSM club that is essentially neutral territory in both of their cities. But Learn my Lesson mentions nothing about Persephone. Because both mention the loss of Hades’s first wife and son. And the Neon Gods series and Wicked Villain series are set in the same world so I spent most of the time confused about what the timeline was between the two books. I read Neon Gods first so I have that version of her Hades already in my head. Which are firmly in the fantasy/mythology realm. All of the books I have read by her have been firmly in the BDSM realm, but I haven’t even scratched the surface of her backlist and so far I have only read Neon Gods, Desperate Measures, and Learn my Lesson. I love Katee Robert’s smut, she is the queen of it. Learn my Lesson follows Hades, Megaera, and Hercules as they form a Triad. Book 1 Desperate Measures follow Jasmine and Jafar.
Which is a reimagine of Fairytales, focused more on the Disney versions than the actual myths and legends, that puts the heroines of the stories with the villains in BDSM relationships. Learn my Lesson is book 2 in the Wicked Villain series by Katee Robert.
